Bloodhound

Bloodhound is written by Tamora Pierce. It is the second book is the series Beka Cooper and is in the Teen section of the library. Beka Cooper is back and ready for action. It may not seem like she is going to do any thing important at the beginning but she is going to another town to do some special work. She also finds a couple new friends along the and it just gets more and more exciting as the book  goes on. You will never believe what this young legend is going to do.

Second Daughter

Second Daughter is written by Mildred Pitts Walter. It is about a girl and her sister and they are both slaves. It talks a lot about how slaves were treated and what people thought about them and the subject of slavery. The second girl that I mentioned was a midwife and went out and helped sick people  but her master got all of the money that she brought in. It also talks about how you should stand up for yourself no matter what.

Jaguar

Jaguar is written by Roland Smith. It is about a boy named Jake and his dad, Doc. Doc wanted to go help his best friend set up a preserve down in Brazil and he did not want Jake to come, he wanted Jake to stay with his grandpa at a retirement home. Jake did not agree with this idea he wanted to go with Doc. Jake ended up staying with his grandpa(parents always win). Then he gets a fax saying that he can go down to Brazil for a week and help Doc. It gets very exciting from this point on like Jake gets to go through the Amazon jungle exciting but I'm not going to tell you about that. Jaguar is a really exiting book for you to read the beginning starts out mildly slow but it never stops going faster than the speed of light after that.

This is a list of authors that I highly recommend and favor:
Sharon Creech: good books for all genres
Tamora Pierce: lovely fantasy books in the teen section(girls like these better than boys)
Roland Smith: adrenaline rushing adventure stories that have a new surprise at every turn

Terrier

Terrier is written by Tamora Pierce. Terrier is also in a series. Terrier is about a girl, Beka, who is training to be a Dog, a police woman/man. She is a strong female character and some one that I look up to. She isn’t only kind caring and realistic she also one  kick butt girl. She may only be a puppy, a Dog in training, but she can do some damage. She has the best training Dogs, Goodwin and Tunsel. I bet that all of the GIRLS  WILL REALLY LIKE THIS. I hope that you will all read this awesome book and feel the same way that I do!!!!!!

Eyewitness Book: Dog

Eyewitness Book: Dog is written by Juliet Clutton-Brock. Dog is an informational book as I think you have guessed already and it is about dogs as you should have guessed. The book takes you through all of the stages of the development of the first dogs and puppy hood training and adult hood of your dog and it has sections about different categorize of dog. It is an all around good book about dogs but if you want to learn about specific breeds of dog or about certain stages of dogs or their development you probably do not want this book.
