Christmas After All is written by Katheryn Lasky. Christmas After All is set in the time of the Great Depression Around Christmas time in Indiana. It is about a girl who thinks it isn't going to be a very normal Christmas because their not going to have money for gifts. The this girl, who is an orphan pops into there life and seems to help the whole family believe that it will be a good Christmas. The book has lots of ups and downs just like life but it teaches you to just keep going.

Eyewitness Book: Dog

Eyewitness Book: Dog is written by Juliet Clutton-Brock. Dog is an informational book as I think you have guessed already and it is about dogs as you should have guessed. The book takes you through all of the stages of the development of the first dogs and puppy hood training and adult hood of your dog and it has sections about different categorize of dog. It is an all around good book about dogs but if you want to learn about specific breeds of dog or about certain stages of dogs or their development you probably do not want this book.

My Teacher is an Alien

My teacher is an Alien is written by Bruce Conville. My teacher is an alien is about a teacher who does not come back from spring break and they get a very weird sub. A girl, Susan, follows him home and discovers that he is an alien.Her friend, Peter, and she went into the alien's house to find evidence that he is an alien. They do find evedens, but I am not going to tell you what it is. They work hard to stop the alien. Do you think they prevail.

It is a great story and it has wonderful vocabulary such as grudgingly and philistine. It is fantastic because it has three books in the same series that talk about basically the same subject. I have not read them, but I hope to read and review them soon.
