In the book you actually learn a secret language for the blind. Yes he does get a dog. He was waiting for the dog to get back to cub scouts, and at the end of the book the dog does a very cool, interesting,different, and exiting thing.

FOLLOW MY LEADER
Follow My Leader is written by James B. Garfield. The book is about a boy that goes blind and how he conquers being blind. The reason he became blind is a firecracker went off in his face. The next thing he knew he was in the hospital.
In the book you actually learn a secret language for the blind. Yes he does get a dog. He was waiting for the dog to get back to cub scouts, and at the end of the book the dog does a very cool, interesting,different, and exiting thing.

Any parent should grab a cop of this one for their kids, or much better, for themselves. Come to think of it, if all blind men can have a dog just like his, they'd all be happy despite of their imperfection.
